WEST SPRINGFIELD — Gunmaker Troy Industries Inc., which announced last month that it was moving to Tennessee, is in the process of getting a $750,000 grant from the state of Tennessee to help finance the move.

With the announcement May 13, Troy cited the changing climate for firearms manufacturers” as a reason for its move. Company officials didn’t return calls for comment then or on Monday.
