Rodney Keenan of Brandon, Vermont, was arrested by Fair Haven Police on April 6, 2025, following a high-speed chase that ended in New York State.

Police attempted to stop Keenan at 4:30 PM for traveling 67 mph in a 50 mph zone on Route 22A. Instead of stopping, Keenan fled south and then west on Route 4, reaching speeds of 120 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The pursuit continued into New York State, where the Washington County Sheriff's Department successfully stopped Keenan in the Village of Whitehall.

Upon being interviewed, Keenan admitted he was not watching his speed.

He agreed to voluntarily return to the Fair Haven Police Department, where he was arrested and later released. Keenan is scheduled to appear in Rutland District Court at a later date.

The arrest was part of an investigation led by Sgt. Dale Kerber, with the release of information authorized by Chief William Humphries.
