Missouri State football added size to its offensive line room by adding a former Kansas tackle out of the transfer portal.

Myles Ewell announced on social media on Tuesday morning that he will join the Bears.

Ewell redshirted last season for the Jayhawks and will have four seasons of eligibility. He's listed at 6-foot-6, 310 pounds and was a preferred walk-on.

Ewell played his high school football at Blue Valley West (Kansas). Kansas State and Mizzou showed interest in him out of high school.

Ewell would join the Bears' offensive line group as a depth piece with the potential of growing into a starter down the line. Like Mizzou edge rusher transfer Grayson Cutchlow, Ewell played his high school football regionally and is seeking a spot for potential playing time and a scholarship opportunity.

Kansas redshirt freshman offensive lineman Myles Ewell (76) pushes against redshirt freshman offensive lineman Kene Anene (55) during a spring practice on April 11, 2025.

Like every other program in the nation, the Bears were in search of extra offensive line depth. Ewell gives MSU a big tackle who will try to work his way onto the field over the next several years.
